Beautiful space

Base was thoughtfully designed to be a great place for artists to work—with a sprung floor, east-facing windows that open, black-out curtains, kitchenette, private bathroom and wi-fi. There’s a speaker for your rehearsal sound needs, full tech capacity for performances, and ample free parking. Check out images and details of the space here.

Affordable rates

We keep our rental rates low because we believe a thriving cultural landscape depends on affordable creative space, and Seattle just doesn’t have enough to go around. In the absence of government-funded rehearsal space subsidy programs, Base’s affordable rates are only possible through generous individual donations. Learn more here.

Rehearsals:

• $10/hr for solo artists

• $15/hr for groups of 2-9

• $25/hr for 10 or more artists

Classes and workshops:

• $25-$75/hr on a case by case basis
