Base Independent

Former dancers of Studio Kate Wallich's YC2 present PILOT: a month-long series of movement workshops, creation residencies, community dialogues, and performances. Housed for its inaugural year at Base: Experimental Arts + Space under their Base Independent Productions (BIP) program, and supported in part by Studio Kate Wallich, this new and unique platform will run from July 1-27, 2019. As part of the monthlong residency, PILOT welcomes renowned Seattle-based performing artists Thomas House, Jody Kuehner, and Dani Tirrell as Resident Artists. This special group of artists represents artists who are at various stages of their careers, who are deeply ingrained in the Seattle dance community, and who are aligned with an ethos of empowerment and inclusivity.
